As summer winds down, we count our blessings for the beauty of the season, and look forward to an exciting fall. Announced during last week’s U.S Open ceremony, Ojai was named as the second-best tennis town in America. Sponsored by the United States Tennis Association (USTA), the association attempted to identify the city that “best exemplifies the passion, excitement, spirit and impact that tennis brings...”. The city opens its doors for four days each year to host The Ojai, held here at Ojai Valley Inn & Spa. The tradition-rich event, which has been played since 1896, is one of the oldest amateur tennis tournaments in the country.
